Rosane Lopes

PhD student at PUC-RJ in Project Design and Education and Master’s Degree in Social Communication at ECO-UFRJ, Risk Communication and Public Health expert at Harvard – Boston, USA, Postgraduate in Anthropology at PUC-SP, B.A. and License in Social Sciences. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.

With over 15 years of experience in International Cooperation, Rosane Lopes has accumulated experience in projects of UN agencies (FAO, UNICEF, World Bank, WHO) in Communication, Education and Risk Prevention programs, with strong performance in the field Civil Defense for community protection and shelter management issues.

She has specific expertise in technical consulting projects for developing countries and staff training in the areas of Civil Defense, Education and Communication in countries of Central and South America, the Caribbean and Africa, such as Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Panama, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Angola, Cape Verde and São Tomé and Principe. She is the author of published works in her specialty areas, in Portuguese, Spanish, English and French. She participated in the GOARN - Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network, a worldwide group for emergency response in the fields of Education and Communication.

IDACI MENDES

UFRJ Engineer, MBA in Marketing Management at IAG-PUC and Administration at COPPEAD-UFRJ, attended Master’s Degree in Business Administration at UnB. He is an Executive Officer, Business Consultant and Teacher, with over twenty-five years of professional life working in local and multinational companies, governments and international institutions, with experience in Management, Marketing and Planning. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

During this period, he has accumulated knowledge in the development of research and design of projects for Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), with skills in strategic planning and operational plans, and fluency in the use of various Management and Marketing tools, including coordination of Advertising Agencies, Research Institutes and Press Office. He has twenty years of teaching experience at different levels of undergraduate, graduate and training in classroom teaching and distance learning.

He is member of the System Dynamics Society, Rockefeller College at Albany University, founding member of the Latin American Chapter, based in Buenos Aires, and the Brazilian Chapter, through the SBDS – Brazilian Society of System Dynamics, of which he has been Director.
